Trillium Secure “DEF CON PassGO” Challenge

Instructions:

1. Find us in the Flamingo Hotel, stating Thursday August 9th at 9AM. Look for Trillium’s GOON and ask for the IP address.
2. Connect to local area Wifi network “TS_PassGO” being broadcast by Trillium Secure.
3. Use PuTTY or KiTTY terminal to log into IP address.
4. Select RAW connection type.(At no time does the connection go over the internet.)
5. Access one of four server ports:
a. Port 4444 is the unencrypted access
b. Port 5555 is the encrypted challenge
c. Port 8888 is the Dynamic Key Lock Pairing challenge
d. Port 9999 is the asymmetric challenge
6. Once connected to one of the four server ports, the console will stream data directly to your PC. The goal is to hack the security running on each server port. When you successfully crack the security for a server port you will see the Unique Identification (UID) code for that server port, save that code. Move on to the next server port until you have successfully cracked all four server ports.
7. If you successfully crack all four server port challenges and want to submit an entry for a prize, then submit UID code for each server port via email to .
8. Trillium will validate your submission.
9. Once validated, Trillium will request necessary information needed to issue the prize to the winner(s).

Trillium Secure “DEF CON PassGO” Challenge
Terms and Conditions

Trillium Secure Inc. (“Trillium “) is the sponsor of the Trillium Secure DEF CON PassGO Challenge (“Challenge”)

The Challenge will include four (4) challenges:

1. Unencrypted access
2. Encrypted challenge
3. Dynamic Key Lock Pairing challenge
4. Asymmetric challenge

The Challenge will be conducted in Las Vegas, NV during the DEF CON conference from August 9, 2018 until August 12, 2018. To participate you will need to go to trilliumsecure.com/PassGO/Instructions to find Trillium’s GOON to receive instructions and the IP address.

The participant who first completes the four (4) challenges will receive First Prize. First Prize includes: (i) one (1) roundtrip airplane ticket from the person’s destination to Tokyo, Japan; (ii) seven (7) nights of hotel accommodations in Tokyo, Japan for one (1) person; and (iii) one (1) evening with the Trillium team in Tokyo, Japan. The estimated value of First Prize is four thousand dollars (US$4000). The next participant who completes the four (4) challenges will receive Second Prize. Second Prize is two thousand dollars (US$2,000). The final participant who completes the four (4) challenges will receive Third Prize. Third Prize is one thousand dollars (US$1,000).

All participants who complete the four (4) challenges after three participants complete the PassGO challenge will receive nothing. The prizes in the Challenge are limited to First Prize, Second Prize and Third Prize. Be quick!

If you successfully crack all four (4) challenges and want to receive your prize:

1. Submit proof that you completed the DEF CON PassGO Challenge to .
o Proof is all four (4) UID codes, one for each server port you successfully cracked.
2. Trillium will validate your submissions.
3. Once validated, Trillium will contact you to request necessary information needed to issue the prize.

Trillium will deliver all prizes within sixty (60) days after the conclusion of the Challenge. You may not transfer or assign any prize without Trillium’s written permission. If any prize becomes unavailable, then Trillium may substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its sole determination. All federal, state, and local taxes, fees, and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. If a prize winner declines a prize, does not respond to a prize notification, fails to claim a prize, is unavailable for prize fulfillment, or is determined to be ineligible, then Trillium will select an alternate prize winner based on the order in which other participants completed the three (3) challenges. Trillium will not be liable for any unsuccessful effort to notify you that you have won a prize. Please send any questions that you may have with regard to the PassGO challenge to .

In order to participate in the Challenge, you must be greater than eighteen (18) years of age at the time that you register for the Challenge. Individuals who are subject to any United States export controls regulation or sanctions program are prohibited from entering or participating in the Challenge. The Challenge is void where prohibited. Employees and representatives of Trillium and its affiliated companies (“Trillium Employees”) and their immediate family members and those living in their households are prohibited from entering or participating in the Challenge. Trillium reserves the right to review the eligibility of any entrant or participant at any time and finally determine the eligibility of such entrant or participant at its sole discretion. Trillium further reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or participant who tampers with any Challenge process, cheats, deceives, abuses, annoys, or threatens any Trillium Employee or any entrant, participant, judge, or other person involved in the Challenge.

By entering the Challenge, you agree to permit Trillium to use your name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation to you. If you enter the Challenge on behalf of an employer, then these terms and conditions will be binding on you as an individual and your company, and you specifically represent that your employer has consented to your entry and participation in the Challenge and potential receipt of any prize.

If Trillium determines that it cannot proceed with the Challenge as intended or that the Challenge has been compromised (e.g., by fraud, technical issues, tampering, unauthorized intervention, or any other cause that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Challenge), then Trillium reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Challenge. Any damaged, lost, or incomplete entries, registration, or other submissions will be void. You release Trillium from any liability associated with: (i) any malfunction or other problem with the Challenge website; (ii) any error in the collection, processing, or retention of entry information; or (iii) any typographical or other error in the printing, offering, or announcement of any prize or prize winners.

IN NO EVENT WILL TRILLIUM OR ITS AFFILIATED COMPANIES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS, BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE CHALLENGE OR FOR ANY ACTION OR OMISSION MADE IN CONNECTION WITH THE CHALLENGE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EVERYTHING IN THESE RULES AND IN THIS CHALLENGE, INCLUDING THE PRIZES AWARDED, IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. This Challenge is governed by the laws of California without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms and conditions or otherwise related to the Challenge will be brought exclusively in the state and federal courts in Detroit MI, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts for any such dispute.
